Filipinos have always carried their faith and culture wherever they go.
Today, we have a special opportunity to create a spiritual and cultural home for our kababayans in the United States, and we invite you to be part of this historic mission.
The Alagad ni Maria (Disciples of Mary) congregation, founded in 1990 and was elevated as a Religious Institute in 2021, has been entrusted with pastoral assignments in the U.S., particularly in California, New Jersey, and New York.
In partnership with the Diocese of Orange – San Jose Filipino Ministry, we are working to establish the very first Filipino Catholic Center in the United States—a place dedicated to preserving our faith and heritage and serving the growing community of over 600,000 Filipinos in Southern California.
At the heart of this center will be a chapel housing a life-size replica of the Poon Jesus Nazareno (PJN)—blessed at the Minor Basilica of Quiapo and brought to California in February 2024.
More than a place of worship, this center will serve as:

A spiritual home for Filipino Catholics in the U.S.

A cultural hub to celebrate and preserve Filipino traditions.

A learning center offering programs in Filipino language, traditional dance, native cuisine, and Rondalla music.
Your generosity—whether big or small—will help keep our faith and culture alive for future generations. As 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 reminds us:
