With hearts full of gratitude and joy, the faithful gathered to witness and celebrate the Priestly Ordination of Rev. Fr. Janver Laguitan, AM. This sacred occasion marked his full commitment to the priestly vocation, answering God’s call to serve His people with faith, humility, and love.

      Presided over by His Excellency, Most Reverend Roberto O. Gaa, DD, Bishop of Novaliches, the solemn and grace filled celebration was attended by priests, religious brothers and sisters, family, friends, and the faithful who have supported Rev. Fr. Janver in his vocation. It was a moving ceremony as he received the Sacrament of Holy Orders, committing his life to the service of Christ and His Church.

A Heartfelt Thanksgiving Mass

      This special Mass was an opportunity for the newly ordained priest to express his deep gratitude to God, his family, mentors, and all those who have been part of his journey of faith. It was a moment of celebration, prayer, and renewed commitment to his sacred mission.     

      As Rev. Fr. Janver Laguitan, AM, embarks on his priestly ministry, let us continue to pray for him, that he may be strengthened and guided by the Lord in his service to the Church and the community. May his journey be filled with abundant blessings and unwavering faith.

         After a period of virtual and limited gatherings, the Religious Institute of the Alagad ni Maria joyfully resumed its Face-to-Face Caroling this 2024, bringing warmth and festive cheer to its generous donors and benefactors. This much-anticipated tradition allowed the seminarians to personally express their gratitude and share the spirit of Christmas through music and fellowship.

          The caroling activity took place from December 6 to 22, 2024, with 13 Alagad ni Maria seminarians led by Fr. Anthony Bautista, AM visiting the homes of the seminary's valued sponsors. Through heartfelt renditions of classic Christmas carols, they rekindled the joy of the season and strengthened the bonds of faith and generosity within the community.

          This meaningful initiative not only spread holiday cheer but also served as an opportunity for the Alagad ni Maria seminarians to connect with their benefactors, whose unwavering support continues to sustain the formation and mission of the congregation. The return of this cherished tradition was met with enthusiasm and appreciation, marking a renewed sense of togetherness and gratitude.

          As the year draws to a close, the Alagad ni Maria community extends its heartfelt thanks to all who welcomed them into their homes and shared in the joy of the season. May the blessings of Christmas continue to fill every heart with faith, love, and hope for the coming year.

       From December 30, 2024, to January 2, 2025, the Alagad ni Maria (AM) community gathered at the Formation House in Antipolo for a joyful four-day Christmas and New Year celebration, filled with faith, fun, and fraternity.

 

Day 1 began with a vibrant 80s-themed night featuring performances and games like “Guess the Song” and “Balloon Relay,” showcasing the brothers’ talent and energy.

 

Day 2 focused on spiritual renewal, starting with a recollection led by Fr. Peter Lavin, AM, followed by group sharing. The evening included a solemn benediction, a heartfelt moderator’s address, wine toasting, and a New Year’s Eve dinner with gift-giving.

Day 3 featured a Sports Fest that strengthened camaraderie, followed by a Hawaiian-themed pool party where the brothers performed and celebrated together.

 

Day 4 wrapped up the event with a festive Barrio Fiesta lunch and awarding of winners from various activities.

 

      The celebration was a meaningful blend of reflection, joy, and unity, inspiring the AM community as they step into the new year with renewed commitment and faith.
